Racing has been a part of me for pretty much all my life. I grew up watching racing when I was younger, then in 1993 my family started racing. My Dad, Mike, was the first with a car in the “good ole boys” class. From there, we moved on to the super stock truck class the following year.
I then joined my Dad on the racing journey as a father & son duo. We then added another truck to compete in the same class. My Dad was a firm believer in tough love, which showed out on the track, not only by him, but by the competitors as well. We raced together until 2000 where we were in constant competition for class champion, always placing in the top of the class.
Due to personal reasons, my Dad decided to stop racing, however, I continued racing. Today I continue to race for the excitement, joy, and love of the sport. I also race in honor of the man that brought racing to my life, my Dad.
